Teen with Knife Threatens 12-Year-Old Outside Redbridge School
At 8:27am today, a 12-year-old boy was menaced with a penknife by a teenage lad demanding his bike on Cuckmere Lane, just outside Redbridge Community School.
Thankfully, the young victim was unharmed and nothing was stolen.
Vandal Follows Family in Car and Causes Damage
After the threat, the suspect stalked a black Renault Clio onto the school grounds. While the driver and her kids were inside, the teen vandalised the rear of the vehicle before fleeing on a bright yellow or lime push bike.
Police Hunt for Masked Teen in Nike Tracksuit
Officers are on the scene and working closely with the school. They describe the suspect as:
- White male, aged 15 to 16
- Slim build, approximately 5ft 8ins tall
- Wearing a navy blue Nike tracksuit
- Carrying a navy blue man bag
- Wearing a black coat and black balaclava
Police will patrol the area throughout the school day and urge parents to approach officers with concerns.
