At approximately 2.45am on May 28, three motorbikes were stolen from an address in Cook Road. Following the report, officers stopped a vehicle at 3.30am and arrested three people. Jordan Walters, 21, of Sylvan Way, Bristol, and George Gillard, 21, of no fixed address, Bristol, have been charged with burglary and were remanded to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court this morning. They will next appear at Swindon Crown Court on July 1. An 18-year-old man from Bristol also arrested in connection with the incident has been released pending further enquiries. Three bikes have been recovered and returned to their owner. A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We would like to remind residents selling motorbikes or other similar items online to be extra vigilant when disclosing personal information, including your address, following a number of incidents where sellers have been targeted by criminals. Selling online is convenient, but potential buyers or people claiming to be interested in your items may not be as genuine as they initially seem.”
