Police Warn Online Sellers to Stay Sharp

“We would like to remind residents selling motorbikes or similar items online to be extra vigilant when sharing personal information, including addresses,” said a Wiltshire Police spokesperson. “Selling online is convenient, but not all buyers are genuine. Criminals sometimes target sellers by pretending to be interested.”

Experts urge caution—don’t let your eagerness to sell turn into a costly mistake.
