Young Man Fatally Stabbed in NW8 as Police Launch Major Investigation
Police rushed to Lilestone Street, NW8 at 3.23pm on Monday, 28 November following reports of a stabbing. Officers, alongside London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance, found two men with stab wounds.
One man, believed to be in his 20s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is yet to be confirmed as police work to notify next of kin. A second man, details still scarce, was taken to hospital, with his condition currently unknown.
Detective Chief Superintendent Speaks Out
“This is a tragic incident and I am deeply saddened that another young life has been lost to knife crime on the streets of London,” said Detective Chief Superintendent Owain Richards, local policing commander.
“I know the community will join me in sending our thoughts to the victim’s family at this awful time. I ask the public to give our detectives the space they need to carry out enquiries.”
