Man Charged Following Assault at Chieveley Services on M4

A significant development has occurred following an incident at the Moto Chieveley services on the M4, leading to a charge being filed.

Charge and Arrest

  • Individual Charged: Khayyam Qureshi, a 42-year-old from Cranbourne Close, Slough, has been charged in connection with an assault and affray.
  • Specific Charge: Qureshi faces a charge of dangerous driving, relating to actions in the service station car park on Saturday, 23 December.

Custody and Court Appearance

  • Remanded in Custody: Following the charge, Qureshi was remanded in custody.
  • Court Appearance: He is scheduled to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on 26 December.
