Detectives from the Kent Crime Squad have been carrying out enquiries into two burglaries in the Cherry Garden Avenue area of the town.

Jewellery and designer items were stolen during the offences, which took place on Tuesday 30 April and Friday 17 May 2024.

Both men appeared before Margate Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 2 July and were remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 5 August.

Cinthia Gonzalez Romero, 31, of Tottenham High Road, north London, is also charged with two counts of burglary and is due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 5 August.
