Two Men Nabbed for Tyre Thefts at Aylesford Car Dealership

Kent Police acted fast to catch two suspects stealing spare tyres from vehicles at a Land Rover dealership in Maidstone. The thieves didn’t get far before officers swooped in.

Quick Response Leads to Arrests

At 11:37 pm on 1 May 2024, cops were called to Sytner Land Rover on the Quarry Wood Estate after reports that spare tyres were being pinched from cars on the forecourt. Police arrived within 10 minutes and chased the suspects on foot. Two men were arrested on the spot.

Charged with Theft and Equipped for Crime

  • William Moses, 22, from Headcorn, Ashford
  • Harry Cadwallider, 28, from Kings Hill, West Malling

Both men face charges of theft from a motor vehicle and possession of equipment for vehicle theft. They’ve been granted conditional bail and will appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on 17 and 28 February 2025.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Kent Police urge anyone with more info on the thefts to get in touch on 101, quoting reference 46/34710/24. Anonymity is guaranteed via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
