Salisbury Man Busted After Blitzing Europe with Shocking Charges
A Salisbury man has been slammed with serious charges, including rape, grievous bodily harm (GBH), and actual bodily harm (ABH), following his extradition from Spain, Wiltshire Police confirm.
Scott McKenzie Nabbed in Barcelona
Scott McKenzie, 35, formerly of Gainsborough Close, was arrested in Barcelona last December. The arrest ties to two shocking cases—one in Salisbury and another in Prague, Czech Republic.
Gruesome December 2020 Incident and Prague Assault
- In December 2020, a woman was found with severe injuries after falling from a second-storey window on Catherine Street, Salisbury. She later told police she had been raped.
- A second woman alleged she was raped by a stranger in Prague in May 2023.
Extradition and Court Appearance
After an international manhunt and police collaboration, McKenzie was brought back to the UK earlier this month. He now faces two counts of rape, GBH, and ABH.
He appeared at Salisbury Magistrates’ Court on 19 March and was remanded in custody. His next court date is set for Salisbury Crown Court on 16 April.
Wiltshire Police Speak Out

We continue to support the victims involved and are committed to ensuring justice is served.”
