Firefighters raced to a residential property in Park View, Sturry, on Monday, 5 May after flames broke out in a kitchen. The blaze sparked quick action and a dramatic response from emergency crews.
Two Engines Douse Flames with High-Pressure Jets
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) confirmed that two fire engines arrived at the scene shortly after 4:39pm. Firefighters, equipped with breathing apparatus, battled the fire using high-pressure hose reel jets. A positive pressure ventilation fan was deployed to clear thick smoke from the property.
Volunteer Team Lends Crucial Support
The KFRS Volunteer Response Team joined the operation, providing vital assistance to the affected occupants during the incident. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
