Police are appealing for witnesses following a violent affray in East Street, Horsham, which left three men injured and led to one arrest.

The incident occurred at around 1.45am on Saturday, 19 July, when a 23-year-old man was assaulted while leaving a fast-food restaurant near Park Way.

Shortly afterwards, the same man was assaulted again by the same individual, prompting a wider altercation between two groups of men, estimated to involve around eight people, all believed to be in their 20s.

During the disorder, two other men – a 35-year-old and a 21-year-old, not connected to the groups – were also assaulted.

All three victims were taken to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
