Violent Brawl Rocks Horsham: Three Men Injured, One Arrested
Police are hunting witnesses after a brutal late-night brawl in Horsham left three men hurt and saw one man thrown in cuffs.
Late-Night Attack Outside Fast-Food Spot
The trouble kicked off at around 1.45am on Saturday, 19 July, outside a fast-food restaurant near Park Way in East Street. A 23-year-old man was assaulted as he left the venue.
The same victim was attacked again moments later by the same assailant. This sparked a wider punch-up involving roughly eight males in their twenties.
Innocent Men Caught in the Crossfire
In the chaos, two other men – aged 35 and 21 and unrelated to the groups – were also set upon and injured.
All three victims were rushed to hospital and have since been discharged after treatment.
One Man Arrested, Police Seek Witnesses
Sussex Police have arrested a 20-year-old man from Southwater, suspecting grievous bodily harm with intent. He’s been bailed while investigations continue.
A police spokesperson urged anyone with info, or CCTV, dashcam, or mobile footage from the area, to come forward.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or may have CCTV, mobile phone, or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the affray. Your information could help us with our ongoing investigation.”
