Two More Arrests Made in Fatal Stabbing of 16-Year-Old Joshua Ingram – UKNIP

Detectives probing the tragic stabbing death of 16-year-old Joshua Ingram in Seaford have arrested two more boys. The fresh arrests mark a breakthrough in the case.

Two Boys Held Over ‘Conspiracy to Murder’

On Friday, 19 September, police swooped at addresses in Seaford to arrest two teenagers aged 14 and 16. Both are suspected of conspiracy to murder. The younger boy faces an additional charge of conspiracy to possess a firearm. Both remain in custody as investigations continue.

“These arrests follow fast-moving and extensive work by my team and mark another significant step forward,” said Detective Chief Inspector Paul Stanley, who leads the probe. “Joshua’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. We ask that their privacy is respected.”

“I urge anyone with any information – no matter how small – to come forward immediately.”

Stabbing at Seaford Station Shocks Community

Emergency services were called to Seaford railway station at about 5pm on Wednesday, 10 September after reports of a stabbing. Despite paramedics’ efforts, Joshua was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 16-year-old arrested at the scene has already appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court and then Lewes Crown Court, where he was remanded in custody. His next court date is Monday, 24 November.
