Mother Outraged as Paedophile Walks Free After Raping Her Daughter

A heartbroken mother has blasted the shockingly lenient sentence given to a paedophile who raped her five-year-old daughter. Callum Haycock, 21, from Kidderminster, Worcestershire, escaped jail and was handed a community order instead.

Callum Haycock Gets Community Service After Guilty Verdict

Haycock was found guilty of raping a child under 13 at Worcester Crown Court on October 1. The court ordered him to complete a three-year community order plus 35 days of rehabilitation. He was fined £200 and must pay £2,500 compensation to the victim. Additionally, he will be on the Sexual Offenders’ Register for five years.

Mother Vows to Fight: ‘It’s a F***ing Joke’

The victim’s mother, who remains anonymous to protect her daughter, said the sentence was a mockery of justice. She said:

“I ran out of the court and slammed the door behind me. As I walked out, I just shouted ‘it’s a f***ing joke’. I see no justice for my daughter in this.”

She revealed their family’s life has been shattered by the ordeal and pledged to appeal the decision at the High Court. “This has ripped our lives apart. We’ve had counselling, and it ruined our relationship because we didn’t know how to cope,” she added.

Brave Daughter’s Spirit Inspires Family

Despite the trauma, the mother praised her daughter’s incredible courage in giving evidence at the trial. She said:

“She’s one of the bravest little girls I’ve ever met. She will get over this but never forget it. It will always be there, but she refuses to let it ruin her life. She still smiles every day and gets on with life.”

Though the little girl struggles with bedwetting and has difficulty forming relationships with men, the family is receiving counselling support. The mother shared a touching moment, saying her daughter wanted to donate the compensation money to charity.

“The police and Witness Support were amazing. They handled everything with dignity and patience,” she added.
