Basildon Court Hears QEII Bridge Protest Case

The trial of Marcus Decker and Morgan Trowland kicks off at Basildon Crown Court at 10:30am on Monday, 27 March. The pair have already spent 158 days behind bars on remand after scaling the QEII Bridge in November 2022. The duo are Just Stop Oil supporters, demanding the UK government halt all new fossil fuel project approvals.

Animal Rebellion Supporters Charged Over Buckingham Palace Protest

On the same day, five Animal Rebellion activists face Southwark Crown Court at 10:30am. They are charged with criminal damage worth over £5,000 following protests at Buckingham Palace in August 2021.
