Kidderminster Drug Dealer Banged Up for Five Years
Syed Ahmad, 36, a Kidderminster county lines drug dealer, has been jailed for five years and two months. The Gheluvelt Avenue man was caught supplying cocaine and found guilty at Worcester Crown Court on 26 February.
Ahmad received 3 years and 9 months for cocaine supply, with an additional 17 months added for activating a previous suspended sentence for the same offence — slamming his total custody to 62 months behind bars.
Police Crack Down on County Lines Crime
DC Kane Baker from North Worcestershire Proactive CID said:
“We are pleased to get this court result for Ahmad whose drug dealing pushed cocaine into Kidderminster and the surrounding areas.
The harmful impact of drugs and drug dealing on our communities is well documented and we will always act on intelligence to shut down deal lines like this one.
Drug dealers prey on the most vulnerable people in society and their presence in turn causes more crime such as shoplifting, burglary and antisocial behaviour.”
