A major road near Hollingworth Lake in Greater Manchester was closed in both directions this afternoon following a serious incident.
Massive Emergency Response on Milnrow Road
Emergency services swarmed the scene on Milnrow Road, close to Littleborough, after Greater Manchester Police received a call at around 2pm.
Two air ambulances rushed to the scene to provide urgent medical aid, signalling the severity of the situation.
Driver Suffers Medical Episode Behind the Wheel
Police have confirmed the incident was caused by a driver believed to have suffered a medical episode while driving, leading to the road closure and emergency response.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area as investigations and recovery efforts continue.
