Appeal following fatal collision in Enfield

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal road traffic collision in Enfield. Officers were called by London Ambulance Service at 3.17pm on Wednesday, 24 April to Drapers Road, Enfield, following reports of the collision. A car is believed to have collided with an 89-year-old man. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the man died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. The driver of the car stopped at the scene; he has not been arrested. An investigation is underway by officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Chadwell Heath. Anyone who witnessed the collision, or motorists who have dashcam footage of the incident, are asked to contact police on 0208 597 4874.
