Greater Manchester Police have launched a murder investigation following an incident on Seedley Road in Salford

Officers received a call to reports of an ongoing disturbance at around 4pm on Friday 5 May 2023.

Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered a man who had been injured. The victim was transported to hospital by colleagues from the North West Ambulance Service, but was later pronounced dead at 5.10pm
