London Weather Forecast: Capital to Sizzle at 25°C as Sunshine Replaces Drizzle – UKNIP

London is set to bask in a wave of summer-like sunshine as temperatures climb from today’s drizzle-dampened 17°C to a glorious 25°C by Friday and Saturday, according to the Met Office.

Following a grey and wet start to the week, the capital will gradually warm up, offering Londoners a preview of summer just in time for the weekend.

 Tuesday, 27 May: From Drizzle to Cloud Cover

Today’s forecast sees light morning rain across much of the capital, clearing into an overcast evening.

  • High: 17°C

  • Low: 13°C

 Midweek Sunshine and Rising Temps

  • Wednesday, 28 May:
    A brighter start, clouding over by midday. Highs of 22°C expected.

  • Thursday, 29 May:
    Starting cloudy, but expect sunny intervals from lunchtime. Temperature will peak at 23°C.

Hottest Days of the Week

  • Friday, 30 May:
    The warmest day of the week, with 25°C highs and sunny spells all day. Ideal for park outings or a post-work drink in the sun.

  • Saturday, 31 May:
    Another warm and bright day, with highs of 25°C and intermittent sunshine.

Sunday & Beyond

  • Sunday, 1 June:
    Slight dip in temperature to 21°C, with plenty of sunny intervals throughout the day.

  • Monday, 2 June:
    A dry mix of sun and cloud, with temperatures stabilising around 20°C.

The Met Office has issued a high UV level alert across the South East for the remainder of the week. Residents are urged to:
