Collision investigators are appealing for information following a fatal collision near Maidstone.

 

At 11.25pm on Sunday 20 September 2020, a white Mercedes GL350 with two occupants was travelling along Pitt Road, Kingswood, when it left the carriageway and overturned.

 

One of the occupants, a local man in his 30s, died at the scene. A second man was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

 

The vehicle is understood to have travelled from Horseshoes Lane to the scene of the incident.

 

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the circumstances and officers are appealing for any witnesses to get in contact.

 

Officers would also like to obtain dash cam footage that shows the vehicle travelling between Horseshoes Lane and Pitt Road and also in the moments leading up to the collision.
