Tragic Crash Near Maidstone Claims Man’s Life
Collision investigators are hunting for witnesses after a deadly smash near Maidstone.
Mercedes GL350 Overturns on Pitt Road
Just before midnight on Sunday 20 September 2020, a white Mercedes GL350 carrying two men sped along Pitt Road, Kingswood. The vehicle left the road and flipped over.
A local man in his 30s died instantly at the scene. The passenger was rushed to hospital with minor injuries.
Police Seek Dash Cam Footage and Witnesses
The Mercedes is believed to have travelled from Horseshoes Lane before the crash. Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is probing the incident.
Officers are pleading for anyone with dash cam footage showing the car between Horseshoes Lane and Pitt Road – especially footage right before the crash – to come forward.
