Hit-and-Run Tragedy in North Cheam: Pedestrian Dies After Crash
Man Fatally Injured in Evening Collision
Police were scrambled by London Ambulance Service at 6.18pm on Thursday, 17 November following a horror crash on Courtenay Road, North Cheam. A car struck a pedestrian, leaving the man critically hurt.
Despite paramedics’ best efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Driver Flees the Scene
Shockingly, the driver responsible sped off without stopping. Police are now hunting the vehicle and driver as they continue their investigation.
Police Plead for Witnesses
Officers are working to ID the victim and alert his next of kin. A police cordon remains in place while inquiries proceed.
