Police Seek Public Assistance in Maidstone Assault Investigation

Police in Maidstone have released a CCTV image of a man as part of their investigation into a serious assault that occurred in Week Street.

Kent Police responded to a report of an assault on February 11, 2024, at approximately 4:20 am. According to reports, a man allegedly punched his victim, causing them to fall to the ground and sustain a broken nose and facial bruising.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered that the suspect had already fled the area. Subsequent examination of CCTV footage has led investigators to release an image of a man they believe may have information crucial to the investigation.

Authorities are urging anyone who recognizes the individual in the image or who may have been in the vicinity at the time of the incident to come forward and assist with enquiries. They can contact the west Kent appeals line at 01622 604100, quoting reference number 46/23976/24.
