Sixty Firefighters called to tackle warehouse blaze in Southall
Around 60 firefighters along with 15 fire appliances are currently tackling a large blaze that has broken out on Kingsbridge Crescent in #Southall this evening. Road Closures have been put in place by officers from the Met Police and nearby residents are being advised to keep windows and doors closed. The following roads have been closed : Kingsbridge Crescent is closed from Craven Avenue to Evelyn Grove The cause of the blaze is unclear and is currently under investigation after the fire ripped through a carpet warehouse and spread to part of the roof. Two Hose reels and a number of jets were used to bring the fire under control. Fire crews are likely to remain overnight into first light tackle a number of hot spots within the family run business.
