Tragedy on the A38: 7-Year-Old Boy Dies in Morning Crash
A heartbreaking crash on the A38 has claimed the life of a 7-year-old boy. The fatal collision happened near Lichfield at the junction with the A5206 just after 5am on 7 March.
Police Launch Urgent Appeal for Witnesses
Staffordshire Police are urgently calling for anyone who witnessed the smash or has dashcam footage to come forward. The boy was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
“His family have been informed and are being supported by specially-trained officers,” the force said.
Road Closure Hampers Rush Hour
The A38 remains shut in both directions between the A5148 and A5 junctions while investigators work to piece together what happened. The closure is expected to lift soon.
