Birmingham Duo Busted in Big Stafford Drug Sting
Two Birmingham men have been caught red-handed running a drug supply racket in Stafford. Adam Bailey, 43, and Reayarn Douglass, 23, faced Stafford Crown Court on 12 March after a police sting nailed them.
Bailey admitted dealing heroin and crack cocaine. Douglass pleaded guilty to possessing crack, cocaine, and heroin with intent to supply.
Heavy Jail for Bailey, Community Order for Douglass
Bailey was slammed with a hefty 5 years and 7 months behind bars. Douglass dodged jail but must complete 180 hours of unpaid work within a year.
Police also seized and destroyed drugs, cash, and drug-dealing kit seized during their raids.
Police Raids Net Drugs, Phones, and Arrests
Officers swooped on addresses in Broadeye, Stafford, and Aston, Birmingham, last June. They found drugs, several mobiles, and piles of cash. Both suspects were arrested on the spot.
Douglass tried to snatch an unlocked phone before being detained but was stopped in his tracks. Phone data revealed the pair were actively peddling drugs as recently as April 2025.
Police Vow to Keep Cracking Down
“Bailey and Douglass were clearly involved in supplying class A drugs in Stafford,” said Superintendent Victoria Downing of the major crime unit. “The phone messages confirmed their trade. I’m pleased they admitted their offences and hope this acts as a warning we will keep disrupting drug supply across the county.”
