In a heart-wrenching display of grief and solidarity, bouquets of flowers and heartfelt messages adorn the scene where a 5-year-old boy tragically lost his life after falling from a tower block in East London. The boy, identified locally as Aalim Makial Jibril, fell from a window of Jacobs House on New City Road in Plaistow early on Thursday morning.
Emergency services, including air ambulance paramedics, police, and the fire brigade, responded swiftly, but tragically, Aalim died at the scene. While initially reported as 6 years old, it has now been confirmed that he was 5. The police have stated that his death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
