Detectives have named the man stabbed to death in Battersea. The victim is 25-year-old Tai Folkes from Lambeth.
Knife Attack Shocks Battersea
Police were called just after 6pm on Monday, 2 March, following a violent clash between a group of men on Thessaly Road, Battersea. A 25-year-old man was found with life-threatening stab wounds.
Despite frantic efforts by paramedics and emergency services, Tai Folkes was pronounced dead at the hospital. Officers have offered his family support.

Two Men Arrested and Released on Bail
Two males, aged 28 and 38, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. They have since been released on police bail while the investigation continues.
The Met’s Major Investigation Team is now leading a full murder probe.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
“Our thoughts remain with Tai’s family and loved ones,” said Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie. “We appeal to anyone who saw the incident or anything suspicious in Battersea on 2 March to get in touch urgently.”
“We are especially keen to hear from anyone around Thessaly Road, Patmore Estate near Costcutter between 5:45pm and 6:15pm, or Battersea Park Road and Stewart’s Road around 6:10-6:20pm. Did you see groups fighting, men running, or have any dash-cam or CCTV footage?”
