Man Found Unconscious in Eltham, Rushed to Hospital
A man in his 70s was found unconscious on Rennets Wood Road, Eltham, at around 7:15am on Monday, March 16. Paramedics treated him at the scene before speeding him to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Tragic Death After Two Days in Hospital
Despite the best efforts of doctors, the man sadly died two days later on Wednesday, March 18. His grieving family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Police Probe Death but No Arrests Made
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating the death of a man in Eltham. No arrests have been made at this stage, and enquiries remain ongoing.”
