The incident unfolded on Sunday, December 31, prompting the closure of the store for the remainder of the day. The Dunelm store reopened on New Year’s Day following the unfortunate event.
Ambulance services received an emergency call at approximately 10:50 am, prompting a rapid response to the scene. Despite the tireless efforts of paramedics and first responders, the woman’s life could not be saved, and she was pronounced deceased at the location.
