Police have launched an investigation after a 20-year-old man was stabbed at Penfold House in Woolwich.

Emergency services raced to the scene at around 2.59pm on Wednesday, 7 May, after receiving reports of a stabbing. Officers from the Metropolitan Police and paramedics from the London Ambulance Service attended, where they found the young man suffering from a stab wound to his hand.
A Met Police spokesperson said:

If you saw or have any information that may assist, please call police on 101 quoting CAD4296/07MAY, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The investigation remains ongoing.
