Holly Newton, 15, was killed in the Priestpopple area of Hexham around 5.10 p.m. on Friday and died in hospital.

A 16-year-old boy was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The teen accused of murder has also been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
