A suspect wanted in connection with a series of targeted thefts at the same shop in Tunbridge Wells has been arrested and charged

Officers have been investigating allegations that around £600 worth of stock, including meat, alcohol, and motor oils was stolen during repeated incidents at a BP service station in St John’s Road.

The thefts, reported to have been happening since Wednesday 22 May, have been investigated by officers from the Tonbridge Victim-Based Crime Team.

On Tuesday 12 June, enquiries led to the arrest of Hayley Sharp. The 39-year-old, of Lower Green Road, Rusthall has now been charged with six counts of shoplifting. She is currently on conditional bail and will attend Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Friday 28 June.
