Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to a wildfire incident on Sunday night after receiving reports of trees alight near the A2070, close to Hamstreet in Ashford.
Emergency crews were called at 10:01pm on 6 July and deployed two fire engines along with a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) equipped for wildfire response.
Although the fire did not impact traffic flow significantly, motorists are reminded to drive with caution on rural routes like the A2070, especially during dry weather when vegetation fires are more likely to spread rapidly.
