The body of British kayaker Bren Orton, who disappeared while kayaking on the Melezza River in the Ticino region of southern Switzerland, has been found after more than two weeks of intensive search efforts.

Orton, a 29-year-old adventurer based in Warrington, encountered trouble on the river on May 16. According to reports, he was caught in recirculating waves and dragged underwater, failing to resurface.
