Emergency services are currently at the scene of an aircraft crash near the village of Thorganby, south of York, North Yorkshire. The incident, involving a light aircraft, was reported to authorities at approximately 9:50 AM today.

North Yorkshire Police have released a brief statement regarding the incident: “We are currently dealing with an incident involving a light aircraft at a rural location near Selby, which was reported at around 9:50 am today. We remain on the scene along with other emergency services, and further updates will follow.”

The Yorkshire Ambulance Service also confirmed their involvement, stating, “We received an emergency call at 9:50 am on Sunday morning reporting an incident involving a light aircraft at Thorganby near York. A number of our resources have responded to the incident.”
