Football supporters are being urged to enjoy the Euros safely and responsibly ahead of England’s first match this weekend

Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions take on Serbia at 8pm on Sunday 16 June 2024 in their first game of the much-anticipated tournament which is being held in Germany.

As part of the force’s commitment to keep people safe, officers have been preventing high-risk individuals from travelling to Germany in the run-up to the tournament, which includes contacting those already subject to Football Banning Orders and ensuring they hand in their passports before the tournament begins.
