The M25 motorway in Surrey has been closed in the clockwise direction between Junction 9 (Leatherhead) and Junction 10 (Guildford) following a serious road traffic collision and subsequent vehicle fire. The closure has led to significant disruption for motorists in the area.

Emergency services are currently on the scene, working to manage the situation. National Highways personnel are also in attendance to assist with traffic management and ensure the safety of road users.

Take the 3rd exit onto the A217, heading towards London.

At the A240 Burgh Heath traffic signals, turn left onto the A240 towards Kingston.

At the A24 Ewell roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A24 towards Central London.

Continue to Organ Crossroads and follow the A240 towards Kingston.

At the A3 ‘Tolworth Interchange’, take the 1st exit at the roundabout onto the A3 towards Portsmouth.

Follow the A3 until you reach the M25.

Take the exit slip at Junction 10 (‘Wisley Interchange’) and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout to rejoin the M25, heading towards Heathrow.

Motorists should be aware that there is a height restriction of 15ft 3 inches at the A240 Tolworth railway bridge.

If this closure affects your planned route, it is advised to allow for extra travel time. Drivers may wish to re-route or delay their journey to avoid the affected area.
