Woman Stabbed to Death in Earls Court Flat

Detectives have charged a man after the shocking discovery of a woman’s body in Earls Court. Police were called to a flat on Old Brompton Road at 11:15am on Wednesday, 10 December, following welfare concerns.

Inside, officers found 39-year-old Xiaoqing Ke, a Chinese national, dead from fatal stab wounds. A post-mortem confirmed the brutal cause of death. Her family in China have been informed and are being given specialist support.

Suspect in Custody: Who’s Been Arrested?

  • Deepak Sandhu, 23, from Southampton, has been charged with murder.
  • He’s currently remanded in custody and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 15 December.
  • A second man, aged 47, was also arrested but has since been released on bail as investigations continue.

Investigation Ongoing – Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

“Our thoughts remain with Xiaoqing’s family at this incredibly difficult time,” said Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley. “While a man has now been charged, our investigation continues. We urge anyone with information who hasn’t spoken to us yet to come forward.”
