Woman Stabbed to Death in Earls Court Flat
A shocking murder has rattled Earls Court after a woman was found stabbed to death in her flat.
Police were called to a property on Old Brompton Road at 11:15am on Wednesday, 10 December, after concerns for a resident’s welfare.
Inside, officers discovered 39-year-old Xiaoqing Ke, a Chinese national, with fatal stab wounds. A post-mortem confirmed she died from her injuries. Her family in China have been informed and are receiving specialist support.
Suspect Arrested and Charged with Murder
- Deepak Sandhu, 23, from Southampton, has been charged with Xiaoqing’s murder.
- He remains in custody and is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 15 December.
- A second man, 47, was arrested but has been released on bail while investigations continue.
Police Appeal for Witnesses to Speak Out
“Our thoughts remain with Xiaoqing’s family at this incredibly difficult time,” said Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolley. “While a man has now been charged, our investigation continues. We urge anyone with information who hasn’t spoken to us yet to come forward.”
