Man Cut from Vehicle After M275 Motorway Crash in Portsmouth
Police launch public appeal for information after a car rolled over on the busy M275 Motorway into Portsmouth. The driver had to be freed using specialist cutting equipment after his vehicle left the carriageway and hit a traffic sign. The vehicle struck a lamp post before doing a 360° turn, striking the road information sign. Both Lanes of the M275 where closed and traffic diverted away from the area whilst the driver was freed. The driver, who was trapped for just over an hour, was cut from the vehicle and taken to hospital strapped to a spinal board.
