Man Dies in fatal collision involving Minibus in Kent

Collision investigators are appealing for witnesses following the death of a pedestrian in Greatstone near New Romney. On Saturday 16 June 2018 a blue Renault Traffic minibus collided with a 62-year-old man who was walking along Dunes Road. The incident happened at the junction with Hardy Road. The victim was flown by air ambulance to a hospital in London where he later died. A second man walking with him was also injured and was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the Renault was uninjured. Officers from the Kent Police Serious Collison Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who saw the vehicle being driven in the moments leading up to it.
