Five people have been hospitalised following a collision involving a car and pedestrians in Birmingham during the early hours of this morning.

West Midlands Ambulance Service received a call at 3:13 am regarding the incident, which occurred on Livery Street. Emergency services quickly responded, deploying four ambulances, two paramedic officers, a MERIT trauma doctor, and a critical care paramedic to the scene. The first medical team arrived within five minutes.
The other four patients, also male pedestrians, sustained potentially serious injuries. They were treated by medics at the scene and then transported to the hospital for further care.

The condition of those injured has not yet been updated, and the exact circumstances surrounding the collision are under investigation.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area while investigations continue, and authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to contact local police.
