Gunfire Erupts Near White House

Chaos erupted near the White House today as multiple National Guard soldiers were shot, forcing a security lockdown at the president’s residence. Early reports reveal the suspected shooter is now in custody, bringing a tense situation under control in the heart of Washington DC.

Shocking images surfaced online showing an injured National Guard soldier lying on the pavement with blood pouring from his head while Secret Service agents administer urgent medical aid.

FBI and Emergency Responders Rush to Scene

An FBI source confirmed agents are en route to the scene to assist local law enforcement. Armed National Guard units have been a fixture in DC since early August, deployed as part of former President Donald Trump’s crime crackdown strategy.

Roughly 2,000 National Guard troops from DC and eight other states have been stationed in the area. Secret Service officers and ambulances quickly responded to the incident.

“The White House is aware and actively monitoring this tragic situation. The President has been briefed,” said White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

Officials Request Prayers for the Injured

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem appealed to the public for prayers for the wounded guardsmen and stated her department is collaborating closely with local police to handle the crisis.

The White House confirmed the president was not on-site during the shooting, as he had already departed for Mar-a-Lago to spend Thanksgiving.
