A Swindon entrepreneur is heading to prison after pleading guilty to abusing a teenage girl. Kyle Holmes, founder of the popular web agency Black Nova Designs, faces serious jail time for shocking sex offences involving a young victim.
Airport Arrest and Guilty Pleas
Holmes, charged with nine sexual offences linked to a teenager, was arrested at a UK airport while returning from abroad. At Swindon Crown Court on Friday 13 March, he admitted guilt to four counts, including sexual activity and encouraging the victim to participate.
More Charges Under Review as Sentencing Nears
He pleads not guilty to five other charges. The Crown Prosecution Service will decide within 14 days if those will proceed to trial. Holmes, from Eider Avenue, Lyneham, remains in custody and faces sentencing on 24 April.
Judge Townsend has warned Holmes to brace for prison. The defendant stepped down as director of Black Nova Designs last year. The business now operates under his wife’s leadership.
Victims’ Identities Protected by Law
Victims of sexual crimes are granted lifetime anonymity by law. Revealing any information that could identify them is a criminal offence punishable by imprisonment.
