One Arrested After Triple Stabbing on Clapham High Street — Crime Scene Remains in Place

A section of the A3 Clapham High Street remains cordoned off this morning following a triple stabbing that occurred late last night, with one person arrested in connection with the attack.

Emergency services were called to the southbound carriageway of Clapham High Street, between Bedford Road (Clapham North Station) and Aristotle Road, shortly after 9:15 PM on Thursday, 10 April.

The incident, which unfolded under the railway bridge, drew a heavy police presence, with Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service responding swiftly. A crime scene remains in place, and forensic teams continue to examine the area.


Three People Stabbed, One Arrest Made

A Police source  has confirmed that three people were injured in the attack. Their conditions have not yet been publicly released, though all were taken to hospital for treatment.

A Metropolitan Police source confirmed that one individual has been arrested and is currently in custody. The nature of their involvement is under investigation.

“This is the heart of our community — it’s deeply worrying to hear that three people were stabbed just metres from the station,” said one resident.

Ongoing Investigation

The cordon is expected to remain in place through the day as forensic officers carry out detailed work at the scene. Police have not yet confirmed a motive for the attack or whether the victims were known to each other or the suspect.
