Police are appealing for witnesses after a 50-year-old man was left with serious injuries following a violent group assault in Peckham Rye Park.
The incident took place at around 9.15pm on Friday, 22 August, when a group of 8–10 youths wearing balaclavas targeted the victim as he walked home with a friend.
Witnesses reported the suspects wore mostly black clothing, appeared slim, and were around 6ft tall on average.

Residents have also been asked to share any information about videos of the incident that may be circulating on social media.

Local community safety groups say the violence has shocked residents and raised concerns about similar incidents in the area.
