A four-year-old girl who tragically died in a house fire in Manchester has been identified as Lesma-Rose Wibier.

The young girl’s grieving family described her as the “star of the family”, paying tribute to her beautiful smile, intelligence, and joyful spirit.
Detective Chief Inspector Charlotte Whalley, from Greater Manchester Police’s Major Incident Team, said:
“This awful incident has seen the tragic death of a young girl. I would like to send my condolences to her friends and family. Numerous emergency services attended the scene and all did their utmost to save her.”

“There is no wider threat to the community, and no one else is currently being sought in connection with the investigation. We are fully investigating all circumstances of the fire and will leave no stone unturned.

Appeal for Information

Greater Manchester Police are urging anyone with information to come forward by calling 101, quoting the reference for the incident, or providing anonymous tips via Crimestoppers.
