Police are appealing for witnesses after a violent disorder incident on Barnstaple High Street led to a car chase and collision.
Incident on Barnstaple High Street
At approximately 5:25 p.m. on Monday, February 10, officers were called to reports of disorder involving several men on Barnstaple High Street. Upon arrival, police attempted to apprehend two suspects who fled the scene in a vehicle.

During the suspects’ escape, their vehicle collided with another car. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the occupants of either vehicle.
Two Arrests Made for Multiple Offences
Following a police search, two males, aged 17 and 18, were detained shortly after and are now in police custody. They are facing multiple charges, including:
- Failing to stop
- Dangerous driving
- Drug driving
- Affray
- Possession of drugs

Authorities are urging any witnesses to either the disorder or the collision to come forward.
