A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following an attack at the Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara in Gravesend.
An air ambulance landed on playing fields near the Gurdwara on Saddington Street to provide medical assistance.
[block_2]A cordon has been established in both nearby Trinity Road and Khalsa Avenue. Officers have confirmed they are not looking for any other suspects in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called at 8:10 pm on Thursday, July 11, to a report of a disturbance at a Gurdwara on Saddington Street in Gravesend. It was reported that two people had sustained injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening and are being treated locally. A 17-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident but remain on scene while enquiries are ongoing.”
